A real apology is not just “I’m sorry.”

I believe a real apology requires more than the right words. It requires ownership, changed behavior, and the patience to let the person you hurt feel what they feel. It does not weaponize guilt. It does not hide behind “that wasn’t my intention.”

SIT WITH THIS :

What does a genuine apology require besides regret?

Have you ever accepted an apology that never actually repaired anything?

Can someone truly be sorry for harm they are still willing to repeat?
